The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) encourages everyone to report adverse reactions to permanent and temporary tattoos and permanent makeup to the FDA's Centre for Food Safety and Applied Nutrition (CFSAN) Adverse Event Reporting System (CAERS). This agency monitors problems caused by cosmetic products and ingredients, including colour additives.
