Here’s What A Day Of Perfect Food Journaling Looks Like

If you’re looking to lose weight or even just eat healthier, food journaling can be a great tool. That’s because the act of recording the foods you eat and writing down your feelings makes them tangible. Logs like this help us to note our patterns, whether they’re helpful or detrimental. Don’t worry. This is not something you’ll have to do for the rest of your life. But it’s a terrific exercise to use when you’re trying to become more mindful of your eating habits and craving triggers—and it’s certainly helpful if you’re looking to lose weight

Your log will help you identify what meals are eaten for emotional, behavioral, or physical reasons while also presenting an unbiased record of which foods fill you, fatigue you, or trigger overeating. Skip a meal? This log will show you in black and white what happens and how you’ll feel as a result. It will be evident if poor sleep or too little sleep triggers a greater appetite. In addition to the information below, be sure to record your fullness level on a scale from one to 10 before and after each meal.
