A mother’s response to her children’s repeated requests for junk food has gone viral and won praise from parents the world over.

Mummy blogger Rachaele Hambleton, from Torbay in Devon, has three daughters and two stepsons – who she dubs her ‘five mini hooligans’ – and keeps her 160,000 followers entertained with her searingly-honest account of being a working mother.

This week she revealed her ingenious way of tricking her children into eating their fruits and vegetables.

‘Here you go s*** bags… enjoy!’ Rachaele’s post about tricking her three children and two stepchildren into eating fruit has notched up thousands of views and comments on Facebook

In a post that notched up 10,000 likes and hundreds of shares, Rachaele recounted a conversation between herself and her children:

‘To me: “Mum can I have an ice lolly? Can I have a fruit winder? Can I have a yogurt? Can I have a caramel freddo? Can I have a cake?”

‘To them: “Go and sit in the lounge and mummy will make you all something nice.”  **All rush into the lounge excited as f***.** Here you go s*** bags… enjoy.’ She shared this alongside a picture showing bowls of healthy, chopped-up fruit.

Rachaele went viral earlier this year when she wrote a Facebook post saying she had been inspired to change her own life by watching a ‘stranger with crazy blonder hair’ on the school run for the last 10 years.
