It was a fashion show like no other.

But more than just a fashion show, the BAZAAR in Bloom event by Harper’s BAZAAR raised crucial funds for The Royal Hospital for Women Foundation.

The Royal Hospital for Women Foundation CEO Catherine Oates Smith said funds raised from the event would go towards creating The Royal Hospital for Women/UNSW Fertility and Research Centre.
‘The centre will be Australia’s first comprehensive, holistic, public fertility and research centre and will be available to all patients regardless of their socio-economic status’, she said.
The limited number of public IVF and fertility service centres in Australia has led to the near-privatisation of the services, rendering them accessible to only high socio-economic status families.
The centre will also assist cancer patients who have undergone chemotherapy or radiation to have fertility treatment.
