But if you go to bed earlier or later it still won\u2019t change the blood pressure.\u2019<\/p>\n<p class=\"mol-para-with-font\">The study of 2,424 subjects, aged between 40 and 60, did not find the same patterns in women.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mol-para-with-font\">Professor Jeremy Pearson, associate medical director at the British Heart Foundation, said: \u2018This study indicates that people with known high blood pressure may go to bed a few minutes earlier than those with normal blood pressure, and the quality of their sleep may be slightly worse.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mol-para-with-font\">\u2018People often have raised blood pressure without knowing it, but it is unlikely that a tendency to go to bed early is the best way to detect this &#8211; you should
