the lawsuit said.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mol-para-with-font\">Jessica Rich, director of the FTC&#8217;s Bureau of Consumer Protection, added in a statement:\u00a0<\/p>\n<p class=\"mol-para-with-font\">&#8216;The marketers of Prevagen preyed on the fears of older consumers experiencing age-related memory loss.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mol-para-with-font\">&#8216;But one critical thing these marketers forgot is that their claims need to be backed up by real scientific evidence.&#8217;<\/p>\n<p class=\"mol-para-with-font\">Quincy Bioscience said that it vehemently disagreed with the complaint, which it called overreach.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p class=\"mol-para-with-font\">&#8216;Quincy Bioscience will vigorously defend ourselves,&#8217;
