I am too tired for the gym after going to the theater last night. I weigh myself and the scale reads 154 pounds.<\/p>\n<p><strong>8 a.m.<\/strong> I wake up again and stay in bed for about 20 minutes. After I get up, I drink two teaspoons of fiber powder<\/a> and 16 ounces of water. I throw on a new pair of size six pants and a size small shirt. The pants and shirt both seem big. Go me! I hope my mom will notice my transformation when she visits later tonight!<\/p>\n<p><strong>9:00 a.m<\/strong>. I walk my dog<\/a>, Riley, for a few minutes and walk to the bus.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><strong>10:15 a.m.<\/strong> For breakfast, I eat a cup of whipped cottage cheese, a container of Greek yogurt<\/a>, and a cinnamon coffee cake Fiber One bar. Breakfast calories: 325.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><strong>12:30 p.m.-ish<\/strong> I walk<\/a> to pick up lunch (about .4 miles each way, desk to door), but I wander a bit more on the walk. For lunch, I order three chicken tacos, rice, and beans. I eat the chicken from the tacos, but only one flour tortilla, all of the beans, and about half the rice with 16 ounces of water. Lunch calories: 393.<\/p>\n<p><strong>4:45 p.m.<\/strong> I get up and walk around the office a few times after eating lunch, and then eat a 100-calorie pack of pistachios<\/a>. I&#8217;m up to to 5,249 steps.<\/p>\n<h3>RELATED:\u00a0How Walking on My Lunch Break Helped Me Lose 60 Pounds<\/a><\/h3>\n<p><strong>6:45 p.m.<\/strong> Between my snack and dinner, I walk quite a bit to a burger restaurant where I meet my mom for dinner. I order a salad with brown rice, wheat berries, arugula, peas, shaved Brussels sprouts, avocado, pecorino, and topped with a tuna steak! Yum. I also eat some French fries and a McKenzie\u2019s Black Cherry Cider. I take home half the tuna steak. Dinner calories: 881. (200 from the McKenzie\u2019s cider.) My mom tells me that I look better than I have in 10 years!<\/p>\n<p><strong>9:00 p.m. <\/strong>When I get home, I walk the dog .25 miles and do a\u00a0Jillian Michaels exercise video<\/a> for 20 minutes.
