this enzyme expression in prostate cancer cells, we found a lower prostate cancer bone metastasis.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mol-para-with-font\">&#8216;On the other hand, if we over-express this enzyme in prostate cancer cells, we found increased bone metastasis in mice.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mol-para-with-font\">&#8216;Our findings provide a rationale to pursue the new use of these &#8216;old&#8217; class=\"mol-para-with-font\">Healthy people who take antidepressants are twice as likely to become suicidal and violent, researchers claimed in October.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mol-para-with-font\">The first ever review of trials of antidepressants taken by healthy adults, who have no signs of a mental disorder, concluded the pills doubled harms related to suicide and violence.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p class=\"mol-para-with-font\">The analysis, published in the Journal of the Royal Society of Medicine, examined 13 previous trials of antidepressant drugs, involving 612 patients.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mol-para-with-font\">The researchers, from the Nordic Cochrane Centre and the University of Copenhagen, claimed the original papers underestimated the risk of suicide and other harms.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p class=\"mol-para-with-font\">\n<p class=\"mol-para-with-font\">The protein MAOA has long been associated with depression, as it cuts levels of mood-regulating hormones in the brain including serotonin and dopamine.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p class=\"mol-para-with-font\">Older types of antidepressants were designed to target it.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mol-para-with-font\">Scientists have now found it activates signals which make it easier for prostate cancer tumour cells to grow in bone.
