class=\"mol-para-with-font\">But, after a stay in hospital, Jamie is now back home recovering and his family are thankful for his &#8216;second chance at life&#8217;.<\/p>\n<p son Jamie.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mol-para-with-font\">He went to Belsonic with his friends but he made the worst mistake he has ever made and almost paid for it with his life.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mol-para-with-font\">&#8216;Jamie had been drinking and made a drunken decision that he now regrets. We are so angry with Jamie for what he done. We will not lie for him or condone what he did.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mol-para-with-font\">&#8216;We had heard through his friends that Jamie was in trouble. We were already on our way to Belfast to try to find him when the doctors called us from Jamie&#8217;s phone.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mol-para-with-font\">&#8216;When we did get to his bedside we were shocked at the sight.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mol-para-with-font\">&#8216;Jamie was transferred to the City Hospital ICU on life support. Jamie miraculously recovered and has had the luckiest escape ever. Others have not been as lucky.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mol-para-with-font\">&#8216;Don&#8217;t take drugs &#8211; simple &#8211; they kill you. One pill can kill. The implications of this are now so clear to us and the other family of the boy it belonged too.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mol-para-with-font\">&#8216;I&#8217;m a realist and I know in future there will be times this happens again and again. Drugs, drinking and using ID&#8217;s will happen every weekend in every town.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mol-para-with-font\">&#8216;Don&#8217;t think &#8220;my kids won&#8217;t do this&#8221; &#8211; I thought that. It can happen to anyone at anytime unfortunately.&#8217;<\/p>\n<p class=\"mol-para-with-font\">Simon also reflected on the moment he and his family arrived at the hospital and thought Jamie had passed away.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mol-para-with-font\">He added: &#8216;Jamie had used another boy&#8217;s ID and we regret that the other boys family received that awful devastating news and we apologise to his parents for this.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mol-para-with-font\">&#8216;Jamie got this ID off a friend who bought it from the owner last year. When we got to the Royal Victoria Hospital, initially we couldn&#8217;t get to see Jamie until it was proven he was Jamie and we were in fact his parents.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mol-para-with-font\">&#8216;We thought at the time that this delay was because we had lost Jamie.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mol-para-with-font\">&#8216;I know young kids are buying these ID&#8217;s or &#8216;renting&#8217; these for weekends. This has to stop. He will now face whatever consequences or punishments that may come his way.&#8217;<\/p>\n<p class=\"mol-para-with-font\">The post has since went viral over social media attracting almost 7,000 shares and over 8,000 likes.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mol-para-with-font\">In May it was revealed that six UK music festivals were planning on allowing people to test their illegal drugs in allocated testing tents.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mol-para-with-font\">The move received criticism from some anti-drugs campaigners who said the scheme would normalise drug abuse.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mol-para-with-font\">But festivals including Reading and Leeds Festival revealed they were backing the move with the support from local police forces.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mol-para-with-font\">Last year, drug testing company, The Loop ran the scheme for the first time at a UK music festival.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mol-para-with-font\">Around 200 people tested their illegal drugs at the Secret Garden Party in Cambridgeshire.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mol-para-with-font\">Last year, the deaths of two teenagers at T in the Park were believed to be drug related.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mol-para-with-font\">The popular music festival announced they would be &#8216;taking a break&#8217;
