When doctors gave Mirella\u2019s parents, Tiffanie and Manuel, the grim prognosis earlier this month, they contacted Debbie Carver, an advocate for a childhood cancer awareness group, with an idea for a party, Recordnet.com reported.<\/a><\/p>\n
\u201cI cannot tell you what came over me,\u201d Carver told the news outlet via email. \u201cI immediately felt I had to do something.\u201d<\/p>\n

Together with Kelley Hale, one of the party\u2019s lead organizers, Carver put together a bash complete with balloons, cupcakes, Disney princesses, a photo booth and DJ.<\/p>\n
\u201cHardly any money was spent,\u201d Hale told Recordnet.com.<\/a> \u201cI had to turn away vendors. When you do something bigger than yourself \u2013 we\u2019re all so thankful to our community for coming together \u2013 this says a lot for the people attending here.\u201d<\/p>\n
Mirella was treated to a special princess chair and rendition of “Happy Birthday” that her mother said she\u2019ll never forget.<\/p>\n
