Mum leaves random notes in York for new mothers

Handwritten letters offering mums support and a “kind word” have been left in random locations.

Ren Benson, from York, began the idea and said she was inspired by other mothers’ random acts of kindness to each other.

She said parenting is challenging and sometimes you just need to know others have similar experiences.
