and some of the alcohol-based ingredients could even be damaging for your skin. \u00a0<\/p>\n<p class=\"mol-para-with-font\">Analyzing the new figures, CDC officials in the health and hazards department said the majority of children did not display adverse symptoms after drinking sanitizer.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mol-para-with-font\">However, 8,000 had to be treated for debilitating reactions.\u00a0<\/p>\n<ul class=\"rotator-panels link-bogr1 linkro-ccox\">\n<li>\n<p>          <img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/i.dailymail.co.uk\/i\/pix\/2017\/03\/06\/14\/3E02E9F800000578-0-image-m-17_1488812257851.jpg\" width=\"62\" height=\"60\" \/><span>Why children should ditch backpacks: Trolleys do less damage&#8230;<\/span><br \/>\n        <\/a><\/p>\n<p>          <img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/i.dailymail.co.uk\/i\/pix\/2017\/03\/06\/09\/3E01075800000578-0-image-m-17_1488793992825.jpg\" width=\"62\" height=\"60\" \/><span>The only boy in the world to suffer from rare cancer is&#8230;<\/span><br \/>\n        <\/a>\n      <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"mol-para-with-font\">More than 90 percent of these severely affected children were under five years old.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p class=\"mol-para-with-font\">Five children were sent into a coma, three had seizures, and two temporarily stopped breathing.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n<p class=\"mol-para-with-font\">The report warns this should not be seen as a reason to stop using the product, since it does prevent germ-spread.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mol-para-with-font\">However, the authors caution parents to be vigilant about handing a whole bottle to their child.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mol-para-with-font\">&#8216;Hand sanitizers are effective and inexpensive products that can reduce microorganisms on the skin, but ingestion or improper use can be associated with health risks,&#8217;
