Eff Waiting Until Memorial Day—This Is When Women Really Start Wearing White

The retailers surveyed 1,000 women across the US and found that, rather than listen to grandma’s rules about style, the modern gal is more likely to dress however the hell she wants. Thank goodness.

When it comes to diving into summer, women seem to care more about dressing for the rising temps. Of the women surveyed, 61 percent don’t start wearing white until the forecast predicts 55 degrees and up.

Still, 39 percent of women totally DGAF and wear white all year long, regardless of season or temperature.

The survey also found that the things women are most eager to bust out at the start of the season are white tanks, dresses, and shoes, followed by a white hot pair of jeans or a breezy white sweater.

Of course, playing by your own rules is always white-hot.Â
