Public lecture on brain fitness, press room, and more: CNS 2017 only 4 weeks away
“I will share a vision of how modern tech may also be used to improve the function of our brains, thus enhancing the quality of our lives. This is a future that I hope to live in.” Adam Gazzaley, a neuroscientist at the University of California, San Francisco, will discuss his work to fulfill this vision in his free and public keynote lecture to kick off the 25th annual meeting of the Cognitive Neuroscience Society (CNS). Gazzaley will discuss the latest research from his lab, which is working to enhance cognition through custom video games that integrate with various technologies such as virtual reality, smart watches, and mobile EEG.
The CNS 2017 conference – only 4 weeks away – will bring together more than 1,500 scientists at the Hyatt Regency in San Francisco from March 25-28. They will discuss the latest research on memory, language, aging, attention, and learning – in 50+ talks and 1,000+ posters.
Symposia will highlight debates and progress on the adolescent brain, mind wandering, genetics and cognitive neuroscience, motor control, and more. You can view the schedule online.

The Press Room will be in the Golden Gate Room on the Bay Level of the Hyatt Regency. It will have Wi-Fi for working journalists. Hours for the Press Room will be:
- * Saturday, March 25: 12:00pm-5:00pm
* Sunday, March 26: 8:00am-5:00pm
* Monday, March 27: 8:00am-5:00pm
* Tuesday, March 28: 9:00am-4:00pm
Please note that journalists will need to use their own laptops and will be responsible for their own belongings.
Journalists can register onsite for the meeting but will need to present press credentials. Or pre-register now! Pre-registration ends on March 3.
Registered members of the press will have complimentary access to scientific talks, posters, and receptions.
