But first, a little backstory: Law student Jessica Rodriguez, 25, decided to propose to her girlfriend Chelsea Miller, a 26-year-old nanny and student, after her grandmother died earlier this year. “I just knew I had to hold on to love as much as I could since our days are counted,” she told Buzzfeed News. “So I went and bought the ring.” Jessica then decided to propose at the Art Institute of Chicago last weekend, she says, because art plays a huge role in their lives.

On the big day, Jessica’s brother Carlos Jair Rodriguez posted a photo of the proposal, and it quickly went viral—not just because of the sweet moment, but because of the woman in the background reacting with pure joy. Check it out:

The photo has been retweeted more than 108,000 times and liked more than 338,000 times. There’s also a YouTube video, so you can see the proposal in action:

Unfortunately, the older woman doesn’t make a cameo in the video, but really—her expression in the photo speaks for itself. (Check out these sex accessories from the Women’s Health Boutique.)

Jessica tells Buzzfeed that she and Chelsea didn’t notice the woman (because, y’know, they were getting engaged), but she “loved” her reaction. “Whoever she is, we are so thankful of her pure reaction,” she says. “She made our moment even more special.”
