According to Sandy Wayne one of the authors of the research, \u00e2\u20ac\u0153The best business leadership style is far from, \u00e2\u20ac\u02dcDo this. Don\u00e2\u20ac\u2122t do that.\u00e2\u20ac\u2122  A servant leader looks and sounds a lot more like, \u00e2\u20ac\u02dcIs there anything I can do to help you?\u00e2\u20ac\u2122  Or, \u00e2\u20ac\u02dcLet me help you\u00e2\u20ac\u00a6.\u00e2\u20ac\u2122 Or, \u00e2\u20ac\u02dcWhat do you need to\u00e2\u20ac\u00a6?\u00e2\u20ac\u2122  This approach helps employees reach their full potential.\u00e2\u20ac\u009d<\/p>\n<p>The corresponding admiration employees have for bosses who care about them manifests itself in teamwork, loyalty and dedication to the business and its customers. The leadership style trickles down. Wayne said, \u00e2\u20ac\u0153It\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s contagious. The employees see their leaders as role models and often mimic those qualities, creating a culture of servant leadership. This serving culture drives the effectiveness of the business as a whole.\u00e2\u20ac\u009d<\/p>\n<p>The study was conducted at the Jason\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s Deli national restaurant chain, and the sample included: <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>961 employees\n<\/li>\n<li>71 Jason\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s Deli restaurants\n<\/li>\n<li>10 metropolitan areas.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The findings were based on data from surveys completed by managers, employees, and customers, and data from corporate records.<br \/>\n\u00e2\u20ac\u0153The University of Illinois at Chicago research project on Servant Leadership has provided a remarkable insight into the myriad of opportunities to enhance our greatest asset \u00e2\u20ac\u201c our culture,\u00e2\u20ac\u009d Joe V.
