{"id":6433,"date":"2015-03-13T12:05:35","date_gmt":"2015-03-13T12:05:35","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/healthmedicinet.com\/news\/ge-delivers-34-turbines-to-egypt-to-invest-200-million\/"},"modified":"2015-03-13T12:05:35","modified_gmt":"2015-03-13T12:05:35","slug":"ge-delivers-34-turbines-to-egypt-to-invest-200-million","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/healthmedicinet.com\/news\/ge-delivers-34-turbines-to-egypt-to-invest-200-million\/","title":{"rendered":"GE delivers 34 turbines to Egypt, to invest $200 million"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>        <!-- google_ad_section_start --><\/p>\n<p>SHARM EL-SHEIKH, Egypt (Reuters) \u00e2\u20ac\u201c General Electric  is investing $200 million in a  manufacturing and training facility in Egypt\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s Suez City and had delivered a shipment of gas turbines to supply its grid.<\/p>\n<p>              The $200 million investment would focus on power generation, renewables, water, oil and gas, aviation and rail transport, the company said in a statement.<\/p>\n<p>              The U.S. firm also said it had delivered power turbines that would help ease the load on Egypt\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s overburdened energy grid ahead of peak summer usage.<\/p>\n<p>              General Electric had delivered 34 turbines to Egypt out of a planned 46 total as part of a project to provide 2.6 gigawatts of power to the grid by May 2015, it said.<\/p>\n<p>              \u00e2\u20ac\u0153I track this project personally.
