The prime minister has set out plans to return to Plan A Covid restrictions in England from next week, including lifting the recommendation to work from home, and removing the mandate to wear face masks.
But Mr Johnson also urged people to be cautious for the remaining weeks of winter, warning that Omicron is “not a mild disease for everyone, especially if you are not vaccinated”.
