But which one is better? Metformin is recommended as a first-line treatment, while <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov\/35185350\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">glimepiride typically is not<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">.
