THE SMART BED
The smart bed comes with a range of new features to improve the quality of sleep.
As sleep positions change during the night, the bed will self-adjust so each partner can sleep comfortably.
Two air chambers within the mattress can inflate or deflate to gently contour to each partner’s side, back or stomach as they move.
The base of the bed will also gently tilt the owner’s head upwards if it detects them snoring, opening the airways.
And for those who dread the thought of climbing into a cold bed, the smart bed can even warm up owners’ feet.
The 360 Smart Bed was unveiled this week by Sleep Number at the CES technology show in Las Vegas.
The bed intuitively senses and automatically adjusts comfort to keep both partners sleeping soundly all night, and can even be programmed to wake you at the optimal time.
Shelly Ibach, CEO of Sleep Number, said: ‘We are excited to unveil the future of sleep: the Sleep Number 360 smart bed, a revolutionary product that redefines what people should expect from their bed.
‘A great night of quality sleep is essential to a healthy mind, body and soul.’
