A radio presenter from Brisbane has admitted she has turned to a controversial diet program in an attempt to fall pregnant with her third child.
Abby Coleman, 35, revealed she has struggled to conceive this year, which resulted in her turning to the 101 Wellbeing Program.
‘I do want to have a third [child] and I just haven’t had any luck with it. It hasn’t been a good year,’ she told The Courier-Mail.

‘I just felt that I needed some sort of cleanse… from minimal sleep, getting up early in the morning relying on coffee, I eat way too much and I drink too much alcohol,’ Abby continued.
Sadly, the breakfast presenter suffered a miscarriage between the births of her two sons, Finlay, 5, and Jagger, 3, whom she shares with husband, Scott Burdon.
She began the 101 Wellbeing Program by Dr Shuquan Liu – which is based on extreme fasting and Chinese herbs – two weeks ago.

Abby announced on her radio show that she had lost eight kilos during the first two weeks of the diet but advised that listeners should consult a doctor before following in her footsteps.
This follows public testimonies by Eddie McGuire, who used program to lose weight, and Zoe Marshall, who also used the program to conceive.
‘It came up because of Eddie McGuire. It worked for him and I just went into a bit of a worm hole reading about it,’ Abby said.

The 12-week program costs anywhere from AUD $4000 to $8000 and involves consuming only water, black tea and three servings of a provided herbal drink for two weeks.
People taking part are meant to do this before slowly reintroducing food while also having acupuncture, cupping or reflexology and a massage daily.
Earlier this year, Zoe Marshall, Benji Marshall’s wife, announced that the diet helped her fall pregnant with her first child a short while after finishing the program.

‘It’s totally crazy, I get it. I know it’s controversial. If I were doing it for weight loss I don’t think that’s a healthy answer,’ Zoe said.
The diet received backlash in June when Eddie announced he had shed 15 kilos in only three weeks.
