THE SHUSH TRAIN

By ‘shush, shush, shushing’ and moving his arms around as though they were the wheels of a steam engine, the creative dad manages to get his daughter to fall straight to sleep.

THE STANDARD BLANKET/’BLANKY’

Every toddler needs a ‘blanky’ and How to Dad finds that by simply throwing one into their cot your child will automatically want to snooze.

We’re not sure it will work ‘every time’ as he claims, but surely it’s worth a try.

METHOD ACTING

‘Oh man, it must be time for you to go to sleep,’ the father says.

After a few yawns he lies down on the ground, suggesting that his daughter does the same.

His method acting works with great success.

THE TAP OUT

This method is pretty simple.

Tap the bed, leave the room and get your partner to deal with the problem.

THE HYPNOTIST

‘You are getting very sleepy’.

How to Dad starts off by swinging a dangling musical toy in front of his daughter.

Then after clicking three times, the young child automatically crashes to sleep in her cot. Success.

THE DAD THAT DOESN’T KNOW A SINGLE LULLABY

Combining a number of different lullabies and some random other songs together apparently does the trick if you want your kid to fall asleep.

THE BIG AWKWARD DAD GIANT BABY SLEEPOVER

If you can’t get them to sleep from outside the bed, why not climb in and comfort your child.

After some serious struggles at fitting into the baby cot, How to Dad finally falls in and his daughter soon falls asleep.

THE BRIBE DAD

‘If you go to sleep I’ll let you climb the curtains tomorrow,’ he says.

A deal is seemingly agreed upon, with his daughter falling straight to sleep.

THE GIVE UP

With a high-five and a ‘see ya in the morning’, How to Dad gets his daughter to shut her eyes and start counting sheep.

THE TIPTOE

After eventually getting his little one to fall asleep, the funny man slowly tip toes out of the room.

Typically, he manages to step on a toy horse on his way out, making an enormous racket and waking up his daughter.
