How to Dad gives parents some tips on how to put children to sleep in video

It can be the cause of bleary eyes and much pain throughout the day.

But ensuring your child gets a good night sleep has now been made easy, thanks to a funny instructional video from New Zealand’s helpful father, How to Dad.

The popular daddy blogger regularly appears alongside his daughter, providing helpful DIY advice to fellow parents.

And now, just a week after he shared the best techniques for travelling with a toddler, his latest video shows parents a number of unique ways to get children to fall straight to sleep.

THE SHUSH TRAIN

By ‘shush, shush, shushing’ and moving his arms around as though they were the wheels of a steam engine, the creative dad manages to get his daughter to fall straight to sleep.

THE STANDARD BLANKET/’BLANKY’

Every toddler needs a ‘blanky’ and How to Dad finds that by simply throwing one into their cot your child will automatically want to snooze.

We’re not sure it will work ‘every time’ as he claims, but surely it’s worth a try.
