Dermatologists have amassed millions of fans online thanks to their videos dedicated to ‘pimple porn’ in which they pop explosive spots and blackheads on camera.

And the latest could be one of the grossest yet.

A video showing a dermatologist using a nifty £4 tool on someone’s blackheads is doing the rounds online with hundreds of thousands of views – but you’ll need a strong stomach to watch it.

The video sees a dermatologist using the a steel curved nipper to squeeze out pus and blackheads from someone’s pimples – with disgusting results.

According to Cosmo, the tweezers are specifically designed to squeeze out ‘all of your pores’, including all the oils and pus with just one gentle push.

Dermatologist Dr. Neal Schultz told Racked that the device – which has the full name ‘Blackhead Tweezers Comedone Acne Blemish Remover Curved Nipper Stainless Beauty Cleaner Tool’ and is available on eBay and Amazon – is completely safe.

He explained: ‘The curved parts gently press down on the sides of the blackhead.

‘Then the curved tips are squeezed together, putting the pressure that pinches the skin together below the level of the opening of the blackhead so the contents of the blackhead can easily be squeezed out.’

The cringeworthy, yet strangely addicting footage of whiteheads being popped, cysts being ruptured and blackheads being extracted has turned one dermatologist into an internet sensation as thousands of people flock to her video channel to catch a glimpse of ‘Dr Pimple Popper’ in action.

Dr Sandra Lee is dermatologist at the Skin Physicians Surgeons practice in Upland, California, and a regular guest on The Doctors talk show, but online she is known simply as Dr Pimple Popper, a moniker she used when she started posting clips of her patients’ extractions on her YouTube channel.

The clips have earned her hundreds of thousands of subscribers, as well as a loyal fan base of zit squeezing enthusiasts on Reddit.
