The study, conducted by the Gallup-Sharecare Well-Being Index, concluded that people who claimed to eat clean often had lower levels of stress than those who didn’t.
The city tucked away in the southwest corner of the state, has been ranked the happiest community in America for two years in a row.

Ranking as the least healthy place in the country is Lubbock, Texas, where a little more than half of poll participants admitted to being healthy for a full day.
Naples has a median age of 64 and Lubbock, home to Texas Tech University, has a median age of 29.

Overall, healthy eating in the nation is at its lowest level, with 63.2 percent of adults reporting eating healthy. This is a major drop from a high of 67.7 percent in 2010.
Although the study looked at adults, children across America are also failing to eat healthy as the journal Pediatrics reported 90 percent of children were eating french fries for their sole source of vegetables.
Many studies have found that eating healthy is often more accessible to those with a higher income.
The median income of residents of Naples was $85,984, opposed to Lubbock where the median annual income was $45,551.
