Setting the Smallest Goals Possible Helped Me Lose 70 Pounds and Build Muscle

Before: 225
After: 155

I was never really concerned about my weight. I’ve always been confident and didn’t have body image issues. Partying in college and into my 20s really escalated my weight gain. 

That being said, I considered myself somewhat active. I went to the gym once a week and hopped on the elliptical for 20 minutes. I considered that a workout.

In 2009, I went to the doctor and discovered that I weighed 225 pounds, which was way more than I expected.
