The Crazy High-Protein Snack Angelina Jolie’s Kids Love

“They’re used to eating scorpions, especially Shiloh,” Jolie said. “Shiloh loves a tarantula, loves a bug. They can all eat a bag of crickets like a bag of chips, so they’re all used to it. But I’m learning to cook them better with a little more flair and seasoning” the actress added.

She also recently showed how to prepare and eat various bugs in Cambodia as part of a BBC News interview:

In fact, a serving of crickets (about 3.5 ounces) packs 13 grams of protein and only 121 calories. To put that in perspective, that’s gram for gram about as much protein as you’d get by eating an equivalent amount of eggs.
