In her now-viral letter, she explains that Noah is the biggest Frozen fan. “He wears his beloved Elsa dress all day every day…he even refuses to take it off at bedtime,” she penned in her blog. She wanted to book him his PFAD experience as a Christmas gift, knowing that he’d love to wear a dress, put on makeup, and get his photo taken. But not so fast! The resort allegedly sent a shocking reply, which she posted:

“At this time it is not possible to book Princess for a Day for a boy,” they reportedly wrote, adding that she could purchase “some Princess-themed items” for the small price of 300 Euro. Thanks, but no thanks.

The super-mom retorted: “So let me get this straight…my son, who fell in love with the concept of Disney Princesses at Disneyland, is not allowed to have the same experiences as the little girls who visit you simply because ‘He’s a boy’?”

She then added: “I’m really not sure what the reasoning is for your decision on this as you never explained it, you simply stated he wasn’t allowed to book it because ‘He’s a boy’…. what are you afraid of? What exactly will happen if a boy wears a dress? Will he burst into flames? Will he grow up to be *shock horror* GAY and I might sue you for it?”

You really do need to read the full post. The mom kicks butt, and leaves delightful missives, like asking if they went to the Princess-themed restaurant, “would he need to leave his penis at the door?!”

Luckily, this story has a happy ending, she revealed in a follow-up Instagram post: “Noah (and every other little boy who wants to…) SHALL go to the ball!” Disneyland Paris reportedly contacted her and confirmed that both boys and girls are welcome to have the experience, and that their staff will be briefed so similar incidents don’t happen again. People also reports that the theme park issued a statement saying the email was “an isolated incident” and “not reflective of any policy or belief held here at Disneyland Paris.”

Of course, some people replied to her post with troll-y comments (as they do for everything), but many had the boy’s back:

“Advocating on behalf of our kids’ needs is one of the hardest and most stressful parts of parenting, I think—I would give you a big in-person hug right now if I could,” wrote supermomhacks.

“I think you’re so amazingly brave and I’m hugely proud of what you’ve achieved. You took on one of the largest corporations in the world and won. That is absolutely fantastic. And you’ve done it all because of your love for your son,” said mrs_hs_fav_things.

And justamandajayne commented: “Well done for making your son’s (and all those other Elsa wannabes who don’t conform) dreams come true.”
