As seen in the documentary, her assistant hands her a bouquet of pink hydrangeas and roses with a note attached. While the music superstar, who looks distraught while reading the note, never reveals the content of it, she says, “Well, nothin’ like getting flowers from your ex-fiancé on the day of the Super Bowl.”

Her team tries to lift her up, but she seems truly rocked by the gesture, and is only comforted by a long hug with her assistant and the action of throwing the flowers down the sink. However, she immediately feels guilty about that and says, “Actually, we’ll put them out. Nice and proud.”

“My love life has just imploded. I sold 10 million [records] and lost Matt [Williams]. I sold 30 million and lost Luc [Carl]. I did a movie and lose Taylor,” she explains in a different scene in the documentary, referring to her leading role in A Star is Born. “It’s like a turnover. This is the third time I’ve had my heart broken like this.”
