Experts have flip-flopped on whether or not falling asleep on your tummy is a good idea. And while it can be a quick fix to lessen snoring, most experts agree that the cons of sleeping face-in-the-sheets outweigh that pro.

It puts your spine out of alignment and will likely bring on neck problems, Shawn Stevenson, author of “Sleep Smarter,” explains in this HuffPost Rise video.

Plus, smashing your skin into the sheets invites acne, Stevenson said.
