8 Times Butts Accomplished Phenomenal Feats

Fact: Butts are huge these days. (We’re not talking size here.) The booty has been featured in many a recent music video (and this hilarious music video spoof) and on several a red carpet. But there’s so much more the donk deserves credit for. In case you need more convincing or you’re just curious, see these amazing achievements performed by booties:

1. They Can Hula Hoop
Talented hula hooper Aerial Emery can hula with pretty much every part of her body—including her bum. That’s a feat very few booties can boast. Check her out at the 18-second mark:

2. They Can Catch Flying Computers
Looks like someone has been doing his squats and lunges! This guy’s booty catches laptops mid-cartwheel, while flipping on a trampoline, and while holding breakdancing poses. We can’t even be 100-percent sure this video is authentic—it’s that impressive.  

3. They Can Shake in Amazing Ways
Jessica Vanessa’s junk in the trunk twerked all over the video platform Vine and now has more than one billion views. WITH A “B”! Behold her signature move:

4. They Can Jump Rope
In 2011, the bouncing booty of Mami Murao of Japan skipped its way into the record books and earned the title of “most bum skips in 30 seconds” when she jumped rope with her backside for 30 whole seconds. And somehow, she made it look so easy. Watch her go:

Before “Seltering” was a thing, Jen Selter’s humble booty worked at the reception desk of a gym, according to Men’s Health. Fast forward three years and countless “belfies” later, her butt has acquired the eyeballs of six million Instagram folllowers.

This past fall, the unmistakable derrière of Kim K. crushed the Interwebs and our minds with her Paper magazine cover. The world has never been the same. Besides burning the image of her shiny butt into our brains forever, the famous donk somehow managed to balance a champagne glass while alcohol was being poured into it! Okay, so those pictures were likely Photoshopped, but you were probably at least a little impressed at first.
