"Concussion" author talks football brain injuries, NFL response

November 24, 2015, 8:32 AM|In 2009, Jeanne Marie Laskas wrote a GQ article focused on relatively-unknown pathologist Dr. Bennet Omalu who found evidence of Alzheimer’s-like disease among deceased NFL players. His struggle to convince the NFL is featured in Laskas’ book, “Concussion,” which will premiere as a movie starring Will Smith next month. Laskas joins “CBS This Morning” to discuss why she wrote the book.
