Biliary atresia is a life-threatening condition in infants in which the bile ducts inside or outside the liver do not have normal openings.
Her mum Kylie says the entire family is inspired by Indi’s strength.
She starts kindergarten next year and enjoys playing soccer, running around the backyard and dancing with her big sister.
‘Just creating general havoc like any kid her age,’ she told AAP.
‘We didn’t realise how life threatening her condition was until she was 10 days old, but she’s been sick since she was born and taken it all in her stride.’
