Since Nene Fulcher, from Adelaide, had a stillborn baby two years ago, she has dedicated her life to being ‘a resource should you need it’ for other grieving mothers.

The 31-year-old set up a Facebook page, Remembering Jacob, to allow others to draw hope from her tragic experience and has travelled miles to be beside another mother – a stranger – as she delivered a stillborn baby last month.

In her most recent inspiring measure, Nene Fulcher wrote an open letter to the thousands of ‘grieving parents’ in the world last week.

‘It was hard to write,’ Ms Fulcher told Daily Mail Australia, of the Facebook post which has since made hundreds of mothers ‘tear up’ in the comments section.

'Hard to write': While the mother said the letter was difficult to write, she also said that she felt as though she needed to put everything into it (pictured with her stillborn son, Jacob)

‘I often walk around among “normal” people and wonder how they would look at me if they could see my pain.’

However, Ms Fulcher said that she felt as though she had to write the letter, and put ‘everything’ into it:

‘It’s almost like I needed to read it as well,’ she said.

In the emotional post uploaded to her Remembering Jacob Facebook page, Ms Fulcher speaks candidly about her own stillborn experience.

‘Dear grieving parent… I know the kind of unreal pain you feel. I know what it feels like to have all of your hopes and dreams ripped away in an instant,’ she wrote.

‘…I understand the intensity of yearning you’ll live with until you take your very last breath.’

However, she also offered advice for the other struggling mothers out there, by first saying that ‘no one can expect you to go back to the same person you were’, and then adding: ‘Be kind to yourself. You’re doing an amazing job’.

‘We will always carry the burden of moving on,’ Ms Fulcher eloquently wrote.

‘I say burden because, for myself, I feel like every special occasion, every happy thought, every time we take a progressive step in our lives… it’s like we’re leaving them behind.’

But, she said: ‘You are not isolated and alone. There are people just like us everywhere.’

Ms Fulcher said that she can recommend and guide other women to individuals, organisations and groups who can help, concluding with the fact that: ‘We are strong. YOU ARE STRONG. Go gentle with yourselves.’

‘Beautifully written. Made me tear up,’ said one commenter underneath the post.

‘Wish I could share this with the world,’ wrote another person.
