Despite being a proud mama—and step-mom to her husband Brandon Blackstock’s two children from a previous marriage—Kelly says there’s no way in hell she’s having more kids. “I am super thankful I’m never going to be pregnant again,” Kelly told Extra in a recent interview. “I have my beautiful children and I’m done!”

Kelly had difficult pregnancies with both of her kids, which may explain why she’s so stoked to be done with the whole pregnancy thing. The singer suffered several complications while pregnant with River, telling BBC the pregnancy was “horrible.” And when she was pregnant with Remington, she told Gayle King on CBS This Morning that she had such bad “all-day sickness” that she had to have IVs and fluids administered.

That’s why this American Idol alum made sure there would be no more kids in her future. She revealed on SiriusXM‘s The Jenny McCarthy Show in early October that she had gotten her tubes tied after her son’s birth in April. To double-down on their non-pregnancy efforts, her husband also got a vasectomy.

“I was literally pregnant with Remi and I was like, ‘You are getting fixed. This will never happen to me again,’” she said on the show. “If something happens, it’s a miracle of God. I literally told my OB/GYN on the table while open, ‘If I get pregnant again, I will find you!’” (Kick-start your new, healthy routine with Women’s Health’s 12-Week Head-to-Toe Transformation.)

So yeah, no more kids in her future.

That said, it’s clear Kelly adores all of her children. “It’s pretty hard being a working mom—I’m not gonna lie—but it’s worth it for not only my little girls, but our boys to see women working and still being able to do that and accomplish being a great mom, which I feel like I’m doing,” she told Extra. “I think it’s worth it definitely…I have a great teammate with my husband. He will definitely reel me in when I’m like, ‘It’s all going down, we’re losing it!’”
