One avid fan of sushi and sashimi got an unexpected bonus with his meal – a 60-foot-long tapeworm!

The Doctors agree that they all love and eat sushi – although Urologist Dr. Jennifer Berman says, “I may not again!” And they have a few tips to make your sashimi is safe:

• If you’re really worried, stick to cooked sushi varieties.

• Saltwater fish are less likely to carry parasites.

• Atlantic fish are less likely to carry them than Pacific fish.

• Stick to sashimi-grade fish.
