Neighbors Emergency Center announces opening of new El Paso, Texas center

Neighbors Emergency Center announces today the opening of its new El Paso, Texas center. The emergency center location will be open to receive patients at 6:00 pm MDT on Tuesday, August 18, 2015. The new 24 hour freestanding emergency center hosted a VIP Reception on Friday, August 14, 2015 and a public Grand Opening celebration on Saturday, August 15, 2015. The grand opening was celebrated by an official ribbon cutting and party hosted for local physicians, VIPs and Neighbors Emergency Center employees. Neighbors Emergency Center will open a second El Paso emergency center in November at the intersection of Edgemere Blvd and Joe Battle Blvd.

This newest center is the twelfth emergency center location for Neighbors Emergency Center. Bruce McVeigh, MS, MA, Chief Operating Officer said, “Neighbors’ redefined freestanding emergency centers provide the same level of access and services as a hospital-based emergency room. This location increases the availability of quality, patient-centered emergency care in the El Paso metro area.”

The Neighbors Emergency Center freestanding emergency rooms have been voted “The Best ER” in Baytown, TX; Pearland, TX; and Kingwood, TX and one of Houston’s Top Workplaces.

Neighbors Emergency Center has plans to open additional centers in 2015, including locations in Port Arthur, Midland, and Texas City.
