‘I do Pilates, SoulCycle, and I’m a runner,’ she has said. 

‘I’m constantly doing something. It makes me feel better and gives me energy. 

‘When I don’t work out I feel lethargic.’

WHAT TO TRY: 

The ‘press and resist’ exercise. Lie on your back with knees bent and feet flat on the floor. 

Pull your knees towards your tummy button until your shins are parallel to the floor.

Place the palms of your hands slightly above the knees on your thighs.

Then press your hands into your thighs, simultaneously resisting the pressure with your knees.

Make sure the balance on both legs is equal so you keep the 90-degree angle of the knees. 

Hold for five seconds, lower legs and repeat ten times.
