Simone Biles And Aly Raisman Make Their Debut In The SI Swimsuit Issue And It Is EVERYTHING

Sports Illustrated released early photos of the two Olympic gymnasts, who were photographed by James Macari. In the photos, Raisman and Biles shed their iconic leotards and trade them in for bikinis that show off their badass muscles.

“Aly and Simone represent all that is beautiful and strong and inspiring in women today,” said MJ Day, Sports Illustrated’s swimsuit editor, in a statement. “Women that are not only elite athletes, that are captivating and impressive in their own professional accomplishments (lots and lots of Olympic gold medals between them), but strikingly sexy and beautiful in front of photographer James Macari’s lens.” (Get fit and strong and feel great with Women’s Health’s All in 18 DVD.)

Both Olympians have been outspoken advocates for body positivity over the past year, too. Biles shut down her body shamers in the classiest way possible after receiving negative comments on a photo she posted of herself in a bikini (looking amazing, BTW!) while on vacation just last month. And Raisman recently gave a shoutout to the boys from middle school who used to made fun of her physique on her Instagram: “My muscular arms that were considered weird and gross when I was younger have made me one of the best gymnasts on the planet.” Take that, haters.
