A popular contact lens solution has been urgently recalled out of fears it could burn people’s eyes.
Tesco shoppers have been told to avoid using the Bausch + Lomb EasySept Hydro + Peroxide Solution.
Experts say applying the product could result in stinging, irritation, red eye and potentially more ‘serious health consequences’.

All batch codes of the 360ml product have been recalled in the supermarkets across the country as a result of a manufacturing fault.
A statement by Trading Standards UK read: ‘Bausch + Lomb have identified a potential fault affecting all batch codes of EasySept Hydro + 360ml products.

Those who have bought the products affected are being urged to return them to store to receive a full refund.
The supermarket have said no receipt is required and no other products are believed to be affected.
A Tesco spokesperson said: ‘As a precautionary measure, we have recalled a branded Bausch + Lomb product. Customers should return the product to a Tesco store for a full refund.’
Bausch + Lomb have also been approached for comment.
