This Breakfast Soup Is So Much Better Than Oatmeal

Instructions

1. Heat oil in a saucepan over medium. Add onion, pepper, and garlic; cook until tender, 5 minutes. Stir in cumin until fragrant, 20 seconds. Add stock, beans, bay leaf, and salt, and bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer 10 minutes.
2. Remove bay leaf and mash some of the beans. Divide between 2 bowls and top with sour cream, cilantro, and Salsa Lizano, if desired.
