What to Blast When You Want Your Workout to Feel Like a Dance Party

Every week, Your New Favorite Playlist introduces you to workout-worthy tunes from a different fitness brand. This week, 305 Fitness shares one of its recent playlists.

This is what I imagine working out on molly would be like. But I’m not on molly, I’m on a class at 305 Fitness, the brainchild of Sadie Kurzban, who sees fitness as a “nonstop cardio workout with a live DJ.” And it is awesome.

The 55-minute classes are in a space that feels like an underground club—and the routine combines dance moves, sports drills, and high-intensity intervals to get your heart pumping and your sweat flowing. “Since the DJ is creating the playlist on the spot, you will never experience the same class twice,” says Kurzban. “Even the instructors don’t know what’s coming.”

The result is a seriously fun workout with seriously fun music to match. Kurzban and one of her go-to DJs, Master DJ Ardent, put together something similar to what you’d experience in a class that you can work out to on your own:
