5-year-old child blinded by sunlight, splendid light due to singular condition


A 5-year-old child is fighting for his steer since of a singular condition that leaves him blinded by sunlight.

Leo Hake suffers agonizing pain if he does not wear medication sunglasses that shade his eyes from too most brightness.

He has Joubert syndrome, a genetic condition that means his cerebellum — a partial of a mind that controls change and coordination — is underdeveloped.

It also means he has problems with transformation and kidney cysts that will eventually lead to kidney failure.

With a shades, Leo can see only a small some-more than 3 feet in front of him.

“When he was 5 weeks old, we satisfied that when we spoke to him he would smile, though in a wrong direction,” pronounced Leo’s mother, Hannah, 27..

There is no heal for Joubert syndrome though Hannah has set adult a VisKid substructure to lift income in a bid to find a treatment.

“Without his glasses, he can’t see in splendid lights and sunlight, it’s excruciatingly unpleasant for him, he only screams and cries,” Hannah said. “Luckily, he thinks his shades are cool.”
