7 Fantastic and Flavorful Fig Smoothies


You can find dried figs year-round, but fresh ones are only available in the summer—so it’s time to take advantage of them! Try one (or more!) of these seven delicious ways to add them to your morning smoothies. Once you taste them, you’ll be keeping figs on your grocery list until fall.

We don’t know about you, but we’re seriously craving this fig, banana, almond milk, and hazelnut butter smoothie right now!
 

This beauty contains figs, banana, dates, and coconut water. Top with muesli and some frozen raspberries for even more flavor.
 

For all of you fruit fanatics out there, here’s a smoothie with figs, strawberries, goji berries, and coconut water and flakes. You’ll need some almonds, almond milk, and chia seeds to jazz up the final product—but who wouldn’t want that?
 

Can you say “yum in a cup”? Just blend figs, green tea powder, almond butter, coconut flakes, and honey to make this delicious drink.
 

Sure, this looks like an herbal concoction, but it’s not! Seriously, this green smoothie has figs, banana, water, spinach, and flaxseeds. Told you!
 

Your blender is practically begging you to mix figs, banana, coconut milk, cinnamon, honey, and ice in it.
 

Prepare for a blast of deliciousness your tastebuds won’t forget! Just blend figs, banana, acai and maca powder, cinnamon, flaxseeds, chia seeds, nutmeg, and coconut water. Top the whole thing with aronia berries, goji berries, and walnuts!
