Apparently they’re in it for the long haul in Virginia, Alabama, and New Jersey—those states were the least likely to be into casual hookups.
Also worth noting: OkCupid users in general like a little 50 Shades with their boots-knockin’. Nearly 60 percent say they dig bondage, and 60 percent of those people prefer to be the one who’s tied up.
The study also looked into states with the most virgins (because why not?) and had some interesting findings: Nearly 20 percent of users from Utah were virgins, followed by South Dakota (18 percent), and Idaho (16.8 percent).
The least virginal states? Vermont, Delaware, and New Mexico (followed closely behind by…Oregon).
So, if you love the idea of a little wham, bam, thank you ma’am action, maybe plan a weekend trip to Oregon or Vermont. On the flipside, if you’re saving yourself for marriage and want to up the odds that your future S.O. is, too, it might be time to consider a move to Utah.
