Britain’s drug safety watchdog was today accused of ‘disturbing’ practices related to its investigation into Covid vaccine deaths.
Two prominent Oxford University researchers – renowned in the field of evidence-based medicine – labeled one of the systems used to collect adverse side effects from the jabs a “mess.”
Professor Carl Heneghan and Dr Tom Jefferson claimed that heads of the Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency (MHRA) have invested nearly ?2m in an AI-based system to extract data from the agency’s Yellow Card reporting system.
This database allows the public and medical professionals to report all suspected side effects of Covid jabs and other drugs.
So far, 2,743 deaths have been recorded linked to Covid jabs.

The contract, reportedly paid to data technology company Genpact in September 2020, aimed to create a better system for handling yellow card reports related to Covid vaccines.
But the pair of experts, write in their own blogsaid ‘we cannot find any analysis or publication’ of the involvement of the AI-based system.
They also stressed that the minutes of a meeting of the MHRA’s Expert Advisory Group on Clinical Trials, Biologics and Vaccines in October 2020 have yet to be released because the advice is “confidential” until “a final decision is made.”
Professor Heneghan and Dr. Jefferson wrote: ‘What are we to make of this?
Contradictions abound and the absence of a gadget to identify deaths. Yes, deaths, not mysterious happenings.
?Misappropriation and Fragmentation sounds like a Cold War thriller, but we are the payers and recipients of the products licensed by MHRA.
?Where is the taxpayer’s money, our money, if they have to collect reports manually, and at least where are the late summary reports? What final decision is the MHRA referring to?’
Covid vaccines, rolled out by the millions, have been repeatedly proven to be generally both safe and effective in preventing people from becoming seriously ill and stopping the endless lockdown that paralyzed the nation.
While the MHRA Yellow Card data includes reports of Covid vaccine deaths, the latest confirmed official count of jab deaths stands at 75.
This includes Britons who died after being struck down with a blood clot caused by an extremely rare reaction from AstraZeneca’s jab missed during the original vaccine trials.
These deaths, as well as all other harms, are intended to be picked up by the MHRA’s Yellow Care reporting system, where the public and medics can report any suspected side effects from Covid jabs and other medications.
The MHRA then investigates these reports to determine if the medication could be responsible, or if the event was unrelated or coincidental.
Experts have said the figure of 75 is likely a slight undercount given that some fatalities could have been missed or are still under official investigation.
However, anti-vaxxer claims that thousands have died from the jabs are considered far off the mark.
The author’s critique was labeled with the Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency and its Yellow Card reporting system that allows people to notify them of side effects potentially related to drugs such as the Covid vaccine
The MHRA said the blog contained a number of false claims.
A spokesperson said the AI-based system was intended to streamline report processing, not perform analytics.
?The AI ??tool was introduced to reduce the amount of manual coding for each report, saving resources in processing cases and ensuring they are quickly available for scientific analysis,? they said.
?The tool was not used for data review, but to ensure that all reporter information is well structured to support analysis and subject to robust quality review. ‘
They added that the AI ??tool is now no longer in use as per the terms of the contract.
The MHRA spokesperson also strongly denied that the body was unable to identify and follow up on reported deaths from Covid vaccines, stating that a dedicated team of scientists is ensuring ‘all fatal reports are followed up’.
They also highlighted how the MHRA had regularly published reports of yellow card data on injuries from the Covid vaccine during the pandemic.
Jab injuries in the UK have come under increasing scrutiny after families of those killed or disabled by VITT decided to take AstraZeneca to court over the damages they suffered.
The issue has also highlighted what campaigners have called the ‘cruel flaws’ of the government’s own vaccination scheme, which dispenses just ?120,000 under strict eligibility criteria.
