We’ve all seen the videos.

Now Dr Pimple Popper – a.k.a Dr Sandra Lee – is sharing some of her greatest hits on the set of the syndicated daytime series The Doctors.

Here, in an exclusive clip of tomorrow’s episode, Dr Lee candidly discusses how it felt to remove a tennis ball-sized lump from a man’s upper arm.

And the audience cannot contain their screams.

‘I call this a doorknob cyst,’ Dr Lee, a board-certified dermatologist, skin cancer surgeon, and cosmetic surgeon, explains.

Behind her, a giant screen projects a video of the patient’s arm, and the large cyst being sliced open.

‘This guy came in and he had this growing for quite a while it was really firm and it came out like a hard-boiled egg consistency,’ she says.

The audience screams and grimaces as the video shows huge mushy white clumps being pulled out of the cyst.

By the end, there is a gaping, red hole in his arm.

Dr Travis Stork, the show’s host, asks: ‘How long had that been there for this gentleman?’

Dr Lee nonchalantly replies: ‘I think about 10 years.’ Her response prompts another gasp and round of squeals from the audience.

But that’s not so surprising, she explains.

‘People go “why do they wait so long?”

‘Well, they wait so long because people are scared, they don’t have insurance, they think it’s going to be really expensive.

‘A lot of people don’t realize you can do these things under local anesthesia.’

The full episode, which airs Thursday December 8, will also feature the popping of a nauseating ‘eyelid cyst’.

Both are lipomas.

A lipoma is slow-growing, benign growth of fat cells, found right under the skin.

It moves around easily with slight pressure. It is not cancerous and treatment generally is not necessary.

If the lipoma is on a pressure-bearing area, it may create discomfort and this is when people seek removal.

People also request removal because they don’t like the appearance of these bumps.

Often a small incision can be made over the lipoma and they can be ‘popped’ out easily.
