‘Glass fragments’ in Lean Cuisine coax recall


Some packages of Lean Cuisine ravioli, done by Nestlé, are being removed since they might enclose fragments of glass, a Food and Drug Administration said.

The remember relates usually to packages of Lean Cuisine Culinary Collection Mushroom Mezzaluna Ravioli, with a prolongation codes 2311587812 or 2312587812, and a “best before by” date of Dec 2013, a FDA said.

Nestlé willingly released a remember after 3 business reported they had found potion in a ravioli. None of a business reported injuries, a FDA said.

The removed packages were done in Nov 2012, and Nestlé believes that few sojourn on store shelves, though could still be in customers’ freezers during home.

Customers who have purchased a removed product should not eat it, and should hit Nestlé.
