Tina says it’s her active lifestyle that keeps her in shape

The
43-year-old actress and comedian lost 2½ st with Weight Watchers a
decade ago and says it’s her active lifestyle that keeps her in shape.

‘I
work out infrequently. My trainer uses the BOSU [a stability trainer
that looks like half an exercise ball]. I focus on not falling over, so
I’m not thinking about the fact I’m squatting with a weight in my
hands.’

What to try:

The mountain climber targets muscles around the
waist and stomach. Start in a press-up position – hands beneath
shoulders on the floor, arms straight and your weight on the balls of
your feet or toes.

Make sure there’s a straight line from head to neck.
Bring the left knee towards the chest and put the left foot on the floor
in line with (but behind) the left hand. Switch feet. Alternate as
quickly as possible for 30 to 60 seconds. Repeat.

A lot of this has to do with genetics. A woman like Tina with a (beautiful) pear shape has more estrogen thus she will carry more weight in her lower body giving her a smaller-looking waist.
