A woman who flew to Turkey to get a nose job has hit back at people criticizing her choice, saying they are just jealous because she is getting ‘hotter.’

Alexandria Linton, from California, paid $4,500 for the procedure as well as $1,300 for a round trip flight, in order to tweak her nose.

The medical sales rep was over the moon with her decision, and has been documenting her journey to Turkey and her pre-surgery jitters on TikToK.

She also revealed that people got in touch to dissuade her from going through the operation, saying she looked fine without cosmetic surgery.

In response, Alexandria made a video suggesting that the negative remarks stemmed from people being jealous that the surgery would make her look better.

The TikToker addressed her critics in a video while she recovered from surgery in Turkey.

Wearing sweatpants and with a white bandage over her nose, she filmed herself fixing her hair and giving the camera a peace sign.

A caption written over the video read: ‘When they give you hate about plastic surgery but they’re really just mad you’re getting hotter.’

In a video recorded a few days after the video, with only a small skin-coloured cast on the bridge of her nose, Alexandria told her followers: ‘Do not let anyone talk you out of getting plastic surgery.

‘I have this cast on my face, and I still feel hot as hell,’ she added.

The video was watched by more than 133,000 people eager to hear about Alexandria’s cosmetic journey.

Before the tweak, Alexandria was so self-conscious about her snout that she wouldn’t post a video without first editing it with a filter to smooth her features and reduce the size of her nose.

In the run up to her surgery, some people tried to convince the TikTok personality that she did not need to alter her appearance.

One simply said she didn’t ‘need’ the procedure, while others said her nose looked ‘amazing as it was.’

‘You don’t need any work done, you are already stunning,’ one said.

‘Your nose is what makes you unique. I used to hate my nose but I love it now, it makes me different from every girl,’ another said.

Alexandria kindly replied: ‘I love that for you!! I’ve always wanted to fix my nose, so I’m really happy with my decision.’

But other followers encouraged Alexandria in her decision.

‘Do what makes you happy and feel confident. People aren’t going to live your life for you,’ one said.

Another defended her against her critics, with one saying it was ‘just their insecurities screaming out.’

‘They mad they don’t have money to make themselves pretty,’ another wrote.
