Mom Shares Shocking Post-Baby Transformation Photo Embracing Her New Body

On the left is a 23 year old woman who literally thought she was chubby in the picture shared. She was self-conscious, critical of her physical shape, and always either on a diet or rebelling from one. She only saw flaws in the mirror. She acted happy, but there was definitely a restlessness, because she was worried about what would happen if she physically became anything other than what she was (which was not good enough for her anyway). On the right is a 33 year old woman who is learning to love her body without pressuring it to be anything other than what it is. She is trying out self-love body positivity for a change. She is getting to the heart of why, at 23, she hated her body so much. And in the process, she is healing a lifelong struggle of never fully seeing herself for the extraordinary human being she is. Super-stressed lately? This yoga pose can help:

Lindsay was met with comments from people praising her positivity and noting that she looks much healthier, sexier and full of life in the current photo.

Lindsay, who describes herself in her Instagram bio as a “writer/actress/mama on a vegan self-love journey,” has shared aspects of her road to body acceptance on the social media website in the past.

“Here’s to big life changes. Physical growth. Parts of living that require transformation beyond anything you can imagine. Here’s to learning to love the squish. Making piece with your dimples and stretch marks and cellulite,” she captioned an April 26 photo of herself with her stomach on display. “Here’s to hugging each tender part of yourself and cheering it on. To remembering why something has softened… or strengthened. Here’s to the belly my daughter loves to kiss. Here’s to reminding her this belly used to be her home. And that it’s always been mine.”
